Stanley Thompson is an associate in the Litigation Group. His practice is focused on personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. Before joining MRR, Stanley served as an Assistant Public Defender, first in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and later for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender where he represented indigent clients facing serious criminal matters.
Stanley earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014. While in law school, he won numerous regional and national advocacy competitions as a member of the Trial Team, and worked as a student attorney for the Criminal Justice Clinic. Stanley earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Howard University.
A Prince George’s County native, Stanley is an avid reader, loyal Washington sports fan and lifelong musician.
