  • It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our founder and friend William V. Meyers, Esq. who passed away peacefully on September 24, 2022.
    He will be missed by all who knew him, but especially his MRR Family. William V. Meyers, loving husband of 61 years to Karen A. Meyers, passed away peacefully at home on the evening of September 24th surrounded by family. Bill had a steadfast dedication to family, the practice of law and THE TERPS. A native Washingtonian, Bill graduated from the University of Maryland where he served as president of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and as head drummer of the marching band. Bill earned his JD from Georgetown University Law Center. He began his legal career at the firm of Nylen & Gilmore before forming the firm now known as Meyers, Rodbell & Rosenbaum. Bill will be remembered for his dry humor, quick wit and ability to perform a hundred push-ups anywhere anytime. In addition to his wife, Karen, he is survived by a daughter, Michelle Powell (Greg), and three sons, Vincent Meyers (Melissa), Jason Meyers (Danielle) and Evan Meyers, as well as six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
