Accokeek, MD (September 15, 2023) – The police confirmed that 24-year-old Adam Emmanuel Douglas of Clinton, Maryland, lost his life as a result of a pedestrian accident that took place on Monday evening in Accokeek.
At around 11:00 p.m. on September 11, officers with the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to the scene of a crash that took place on Livingston Road.
According to reports, Douglas was walking in the 14,700 block of the roadway during the evening hours. For reasons unknown, a northbound vehicle struck him.
The pedestrian was severely harmed in the crash. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to the victim and transport him to a local hospital. He was pronounced deceased from his injuries after arriving.
The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit with the Prince George's County Police Department is investigating.
