Greenbelt, MD (October 20, 2023) – A fatal pedestrian accident reported in Prince Georges County claimed one person’s life.
On October 17, the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to the scene of an accident that occurred on Greenbelt Road.
According to official reports, at around 9:20 p.m., an individual was riding a scooter east on the roadway when they struck a pedestrian in the 7500 block of the roadway.
The pedestrian was severely injured due to the crash. Authorities arrived at the scene to render aid. However, they were pronounced deceased on-site.
The scooter rider was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
