Mechanicsville, MD (October 22, 2023) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Mechanicsville area sent one person to a local hospital with injuries. The incident occurred just before noon on October 20.
According to official reports, a road flagger was working in the area of Mechanicsville Road and Carpenter Drive during the late morning hours. The pedestrian, identified as a 35-year-old female pedestrian, was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was injured as a result of the accident. She was airlifted by MEDEVAC and flown to UM Capitol Region Trauma Center for emergency care.
