Salisbury, MD (October 11, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following an automobile accident that took place in the Salisbury area.
At around 7:37 p.m. on October 10, officers with the Maryland State Police responded to the scene of an accident on Route 50.
Investigations show that a vehicle was traveling the wrong way on the roadway when they crashed head on into a second vehicle near Hobbs Road.
Injuries were confirmed as a result of this crash. At least one person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated. Emergency medical services were called to care for injured victims and transport them to local hospitals.
At this time, the crash is being investigated.
