Towson, MD (September 19, 2023) – A pedestrian was fatally injured in a car crash that occurred in the Towson area on Sunday morning, September 17.
At around 9:30 a.m., the police and firefighters out of Baltimore County responded to the scene of an accident on East Seminary Avenue.
According to official reports, a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck was traveling east on East Seminary Avenue when the vehicle struck two pedestrians in a crosswalk near Dulaney Valley Road.
One of the pedestrians, 57-year-old Mary Beth Green, was severely hurt in the crash. She was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced deceased from her injuries just before 10:00 a.m.
The second victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment.
The crash is currently being investigated by the police.
