Baltimore, MD (October 2, 2023) – A fatal automobile accident reported in Baltimore County on Saturday morning claimed the life of one man. The accident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on September 30.

According to reports provided by officials in Baltimore County, a 2019 Nissan Altima was traveling on Interstate 95 when it was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer in the area near Chesaco Avenue.

The driver of the Nissan, identified as Denzel Butcher, was fatally injured and pronounced deceased on-site. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as a 28-year-old male, was injured. The victim was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland, for emergency care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated by the Maryland State Police Crash Team.
