Cordova, MD (November 2, 2023) – A crash reported on Monday in Talbot County left several people injured. At around 8:00 a.m. on October 30, the Maryland state police were notified that an automobile accident occurred on Maryland Route 328, Matthewstown Road.
Official reports provided by the police show that a school from with the Caroline County Public Schools was involved in a crash with a Kia Sportage at the intersection of Three Bridges Ranch Road. Reports show that the driver of the Kia failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and collided with the bus.
The bus driver in nine students were all injured in the crash. The driver of the Kia was also injured in the crash. All 11 victims were transported to local hospitals for emergency treatment.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
