Frederick, MD (June 28, 2023) – The Maryland State Police confirmed that 59-year-old Gregory Wood lost his life as a result of a motorcycle accident that took place in Frederick.
MSP was notified of the crash at approximately 7:00 p.m. on June 25.
Reports provided by the police indicate that a 2016 Ducati motorcycle was involved in a collision with a 2018 Freightliner big rig on Interstate 70 near the Washington County and Frederick line.
The motorcyclist, identified as Wood, suffered fatal injuries. He died while at the scene.
The truck driver, identified as 48-year-old Fabian Bentley, was not injured in the crash.
The state police are currently investigating the accident.
