Great Mills, MD (September 8, 2023) – Authorities in Great Mills were called to the site of an automobile accident that ended in injuries. The crash occurred at around 5:50 p.m. on September 5.
According to police reports, four vehicles collided on Great Mills Road near Chancellors Run Road during the evening hours. The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn, trapping at least one person inside.
Firefighters worked quickly to extricate the trapped victim. A total of four victims, identified as two children and two adults, were treated for injuries at the scene.
Two of the injured victims were transported to MedStar St Mary’s Hospital for further medical care.
