Hollywood, MD (June 3, 2023) – Three people were left injured as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Friday afternoon in the Hollywood area. At approximately 1:20 p.m. on June 2, emergency crews were notified that they were needed at the scene of an automobile collision on Mervell Dean Road.
Reports from authorities indicate that a black pickup truck, a white pickup truck, and a Jeep Wrangler collided on the roadway near Clarkes Landing Road. The incident prompted officials to shut down a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the area.
Two people became trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. A total of three people, including one child, suffered serious injuries. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to care for the injured victims. The injured parties were then transported by medical helicopters to local medical facilities for the treatment of traumatic injuries.
