Joppa, MD (September 26, 2023) – A major crash reported in the Joppa area on Sunday evening ended in injuries.
The Maryland State Police and the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene of the crash on Interstate 95.
According to reports provided by the police, multiple vehicles collided on the interstate, blocking the southbound side of the road. Authorities arrived on site and located one vehicle overturned in the area near the exit for Mountain Road.
One person involved in the crash was injured. Emergency medical services responded to care for the victim. The injured party was then transported to a local hospital for emergency care.
