Landover, MD (July 29, 2023) – A multi-vehicle accident was reported in the Landover area that claimed the life of a Landover woman.
According to reports from the Prince George’s County Police Department, 64-year-old Kerris Jennings was driving a vehicle on Landover Road. As the vehicle approached the intersection of Fire House Road, it was rear-ended. The incident caused a chain-reaction crash that involved a total of five vehicles.
Jennings was severely hurt in the crash. She was rushed to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Several other people involved in the accident were injured. Multiple victims were rendered aid at the scene. Those who required further medical attention were transported to area hospitals.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
