Leonardtown, MD (August 7, 2023) – A fatal accident reported in the Leonardtown area on Saturday evening claimed one person’s life. The victim was identified as 24-year-old William Noah Friess of Leonardtown, Maryland.
The accident was reported to officials just after 4:30 p.m. on August 5.
According to reports from law enforcement, Friess was operating a 2007 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic motorcycle while traveling south on Newtowne Neck Road. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with a 2006 Nissan Sentra in the area near Rosebank Road.
Friess was ejected from the vehicle. He suffered severe injuries and was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he passed away from his injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, identified as 49-year-old Enry David Aguilar Lemus of Hyattsville, Maryland, was transported to the same hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
