Lexington Park, MD (August 17, 2023) – A pedestrian was transported by MEDEVAC to a local hospital with serious injuries following an accident that occurred in the Lexington Park area.
The crash was reported to the police at around 3:45 p.m. on August 16.
According to police reports, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the vicinity of Three Notch Road and Great Mills Road. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway while working to clear the scene.
The pedestrian was severely injured in the crash. EMS treated the victim on-site before requesting MEDEVAC for transport. The victim was flown to UM Capital Region Trauma Center for emergency care.
