Ocean City, MD (August 6, 2023) – On August 4, officers with the Ocean City Police Department and area firefighters responded to an automobile accident in Ocean City.
At around 1:10 p.m., a motor vehicle wreck between an undisclosed number of vehicles occurred on the Route 90 Bridge. The crash closed off several lanes across the bridge, prompting officials to secure the roadway to prevent further damage.
The Ocean City fire department confirmed that at least one person was injured in the accident. Emergency medical services responded to care for the injured victims and transport them to local hospitals.
The police department is currently investigating the accident.
