Ocean City, MD (August 13, 2023) – A pedestrian was hospitalized as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Ocean City on Saturday evening, August 12.
Just before 730 p.m., the police, firefighters, and EMS out of Ocean City responded to the scene of a crash that took place on 139th Street.
According to reports, a pedestrian was walking down the street during the evening hours. A car was traveling down the roadway at the same time. For unknown reasons, a tire became dislodged from the vehicle and flew down the roadway, where it struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for emergency care.
