Prince George’s County, MD (September 1, 2023) – A crash involving multiple vehicles was reported in Prince George’s County on Thursday afternoon, August 30.

At around 12:10 p.m., troopers with the Maryland State Police responded to the scene of an automobile accident on Interstate 95.

Authorities reported that a Honda broke down on the northbound side of the interstate during the afternoon hours. The driver of the tow truck was stopped on the side of the road while attempting to assist the driver on the left shoulder.

While helping at the scene, another driver passed through the area and side-swiped the vehicle before crashing into the Honda. The Honda was then hit by a tractor-trailer.

The driver of the Honda, who was identified as a 76-year-old female, was provided transportation to a local hospital for emergency care.
