Rhodesdale, MD (December 1, 2023) – A man and woman lost their life as a result of a crash that occurred in Dorchester County on Wednesday morning. At around 1:00 a.m. on November 29, the Maryland State Police responded to the site of a crash on Eldorado Road.
Reports provided by local news sources show that a tractor-trailer was heading north through the intersection of Eldorado Road and Dog Kennel Road when it collided with a Chevrolet. The incident blocked the roadway, causing moderate delays throughout the area. Police and firefighters closed off a large portion of the roadway while assisting.
Two people in the Chevrolet, identified as 47-year-old Johnnie Wright Jr., and 47-year-old Michelle Wright, were both fatally injured. The two victims were pronounced deceased on-site. No other injuries were reported. At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
