Wye Mills, MD (May 19, 2023) – A five-year-old girl was left injured as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Wye Mills on Wednesday afternoon.
At around 2:00 p.m. on May 17, the Maryland State Police and firefighters assisted the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office at the scene of a crash on Route 50.
Reports from authorities indicate that a pickup truck was attempting to make a left turn onto Route 404 at the intersection of Route 50 when it collided with a BMW. The impact of the crash because the BMW to go forward and strike a Volvo.
The pickup truck involved in the accident caught on fire.
A 5-year-old girl inside the vehicle suffered injuries. She was rushed to Easton Memorial Hospital, where she underwent emergency care.
No other injuries were reported as a result of this accident.
At this time, the state police are investigating the accident with the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office.
