Car Accidents in Maryland
Every year, over 110,000 motor vehicle accidents are reported in the state of Maryland. Approximately 29 percent of total accidents that take place are rear-end collisions. These accidents can be particularly devastating due to the fact that many of them involve speeding drivers. Unfortunately, when drivers are under the influence, they are more likely to cause rear-end accidents while traveling along our roads.
Drivers who are impaired may not be able to see other vehicles nearby in order to avoid striking them. They may also drift into other lanes and crash into other vehicles nearby. Unfortunately, drunk drivers dramatically increase the risk of accidents taking place here in Maryland.
