Prince George’s County, MD (May 29, 2023) A motor vehicle crash took place on Friday morning in Prince George's County that claimed one person’s life.

Just before 3:00 a.m. on May 26, the Maryland state police out of the Forestville Barrack responded to the scene of a crash on Route 5. Reports from the police indicate that two vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, collided on the northbound side of Maryland State Route 5. The incident caused delays in the area of Kirby Road.

One person involved in the crash was fatally injured. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene due to the injuries they suffered.
