One of our litigation associates, Emmanuel (“Manny”) Fishelman, is the current chair of the student mentoring and outreach committee of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association.

On April 14, 2016, Manny organized a mentorship event at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. At the event, Members of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association were in attendance, as well as members from the Latino/a student groups of the Universityof Maryland and the University of Baltimore School of Law. The event was created to expand the reach of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association to law schools as well as to provide current law students with an opportunity to meet Latino/a practitioners.

While students and practitioners networked at the event, each student will be paired up with an attorney mentor who will be able to provide insightful career advice. Manny will be serving as a mentor to two University of Maryland School of Law students!
